  : how old were you when baptized as a jw?.

  i thought i would bring this up to another thread, because i saw that my old friend gary busselmen and others were baptised so young, as i was.

  i recall a few years ago that a wt rag showed a picture of a little girl, not more than 8 or 9 years old being baptised into a life that she has no idea what it means for her for the rest of her life in dubland.. this reminds me of the hitler youth near the end of wwii: brainwashed, young and vulnerable.. here are my comments on the other thread.

  as i was browsing the study guide i came across page 31 of the scriptural questions answers.

  10:18= what was jesus referring to when he told the 70 disciples: "i began to behodl satan already fallen like lightning from heaven"?

  the response was jesus was not stating that satan had already been ousted from heaven.

  As I was browsing the study guide I came across page 31 of the scriptural questions answers. 10:18= what was Jesus referring to when he told the 70 disciples: "I began to behodl Satan already fallen like lightning from heaven"?

  The response was Jesus was not stating that Satan had already been ousted from heaven. That did not take place until shortly after Christ was installed as heavenly king in 1914. ( Rev. 12: 1-10.) Alther we cannot be dogmattic by referring to a future event in the past tense, Jesus was evidently emphasizing that it would certainly happen.

  What the heck.. they are still teaching that 1914 stuff? I thought they stopped teaching that even though they still believe it?

  All this nonsense is giving me a headache.

  Please someone tell me how that above quote would make sense to anyone.

  I Have a Commercial Janitorial Service - And Proud of It !

  i hope well.

  this is a subject i've been wanting to approach for awhile as i've noticed on the board at times there have been wisecracks about janitors who were jehovah's witnesses .

  now , hey, i'm real, have a good sense of humor, and can take a joke like anyone, be the brunt of a good joke, hell, i laugh at myself when i work alone at nights- just to keep entertained !

  Nice post Flipper. Sounds like you have a good job and love what you do. Hey when you run your own business atleast you can run your own hours. I always thought that would be neat to do. You are correct when said, if you haven't ran a business before a person would have no clue as to what to do. I am very proud of you for stepping up to the plate and sharing with us what you do. I have noticed the jokes of janitorial services on here too. When I see those I always think, hey atleast they have a job and aren't feeding off the states aid. Hey if it came down to it, I'd probably do the same thing. I think a lot of people on here would. I would rather do the work that no one else wants to do then live off the state. That would be more embarassing then anything. Look at our garbage men, now that takes a lot of work. Yes, it is a crappy job but someone has to do it. If it wasn't for individuals wanting to really work hard for their earnings we would be living in a land fill. ick!

  the society has said many times that we only use 10% of our brains.

  they use this assertion to claim that this is part of man's imperfection.. this article attempts to refute that claim.. .

  If the society keeps "suggesting" to people that they do not need higher education that 10% useage of the brain would be true. If you go onto learn more that could possibly increase. Hey the soceity got some information right for once. lol Prove them all wrong and increase your brain power.

  it can't be due to uncleanliness as the law ended when he died.

  On the serious note:

  Perhaps he said not to touch him because he was clean of sin and the filth of earth that he wanted to be pure for when he arrived in heaven.
